Competition Terms and Conditions
By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
1. The Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Dodo’s (Pty) Ltd, with its registered office at 7 Smits Road, Cnr Smits & Oxford Rd, Dunkeld, Johannesburg.
2. Eligibility
2.1. This competition is open to all customers aged 18 years or over, except for employees of Dodo’s (Pty) Ltd, their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
2.2. A valid purchase is required to enter. Entrants must retain their original receipt as proof of purchase.
3. Competition Period
3.1. The competition begins on 23 September 2025 at 00:01 (SAST) and ends on 23 December 2025 at 23:59 (SAST).
3.2. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter the competition, customers must:
a. Make a purchase at any of our retail stores during the competition period.
b. Scan the QR code displayed in-store to access the online entry form.
c. Fully and accurately complete the entry form with their first name, last name, email address, phone number, town/city, and the unique receipt number from their purchase.
4.2. Each receipt number is valid for one entry only. Multiple entries using the same receipt number will be disqualified.
4.3. Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
5. The Prize
5.1. The prize is valued at R18,000 (eighteen thousand South African Rand).
5.2. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
5.3. Disclaimer for International Winners: If a winner is selected whose residence is outside of South Africa, the prize will be paid in the equivalent value of R18,000 in their local currency. The conversion will be calculated at the prevailing exchange rate on the day the transfer is processed by the Promoter’s bank. Any bank charges or fees associated with the transfer will be for the winner’s account.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. One winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
6.2. The draw will take place within 7 (seven) working days of the competition closing date.
6.3. The winner will be notified by email or telephone using the contact details provided on their entry form.
6.4. The winner will be required to provide a copy or photograph of their original, dated receipt as proof of purchase to validate their entry. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
6.5. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 72 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
7. Data Protection
7.1. By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided with your entry may be held and used by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.

8. General
8.1. The Promoter’s decision in all matters related to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
8.3. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
8.4. By entering this competition, you are indicating your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8.5. This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
